We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Staff Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, monitor patient health, and support doctors and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care

Assess, monitor, and record patients' health conditions and vital signs.

Provide nursing care according to prescribed treatment plans.

Assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and emotional well-being.
Medication Administration
-
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions.
-
Maintain accurate medication records.

Ensure safe handling and storage of medicines.
Clinical Support
-
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
-
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
-
Collect blood samples and other specimens for laboratory testing.
-
Operate and maintain basic medical equipment.
Monitoring & Documentation
-
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to physicians.
-
Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and treatment documentation.
-
Update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and nursing charts.
-
Prepare discharge summaries and patient education materials.
Infection Control & Safety
-
Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
-
Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
-
Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste.
-
Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and clinical guidelines.
Patient & Family Education
-
Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
-
Provide guidance on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
-
Address patient concerns and answer healthcare-related questions.
Collaboration
-
Work closely with doctors, specialists, physiotherapists, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in ward rounds, nursing meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
-
Support emergency care and respond promptly to critical situations.
Required Qualifications

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing).

Valid nursing registration with the relevant Nursing Council.
-
0–3 years of experience in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities.
-
Freshers with valid registration are encouraged to apply.
